And if that’s not enough, you have the wonderful Piazza del Popolo featuring some truly memorable sights and surrounded with a number of fine local eateries just a bit to the north.

Anyway, if you’re ready to take a bit longer walk, you should definitely head a bit more to the east to get to the massive Spanish Steps and grant yourself a nice view of the surroundings. And if you head south from there, you’ll have the chance to wander through the old city centre of Rome and eventually get to the impressive Piazza Venezia followed by the Forum Romanum and – of course – the Colosseo! But if you’re already on the other side of the river, do yourself a favor and head more to the west where the City of Vatican with all its astonishing attractions awaits you.
