Monti Mini Loft

This modern 1-bedroom apartment for up to three guests is located in the popular and trendy neighbourhood Monti in the centre of Rome.

Monti Mini Loft sits on the 5th floor of a building without a lift. Its open spaces provide the sleeping area, separated by a wall of cupboards from the living room, and consists of a queen size bed, a desk, night tables, and lamps. The living area offers a dining table, a double sofa bed, another sofa, a rocking chair and a decorative fireplace. Along the main wall of the apartment, you will find a rich vinyl disc and book collection. The kitchenette offers a stove top, a sink, a small refrigerator, and a coffee maker. The bathroom, adjacent to the kitchen, has a shower.

Some of the lovely features of this Rome apartment include its interesting decorative pieces, the beautiful floor, as well as the sun that floods in during the morning. Just opposite the apartment’s entrance, you will find the door that leads to the building’s shared terrace. You can access it to sit and relax here whenever you like.

Monti is a trendy neighbourhood in the center of Rome where you will find wine bars, art galleries, restaurants and unique shops. With its name meaning ‘mountains’, it is no surprise that its streets wind up and down a hill, which ascends from the Colosseum area. Monti district has no shortage of delicious eateries, ice cream parlors, stylish boutiques and vintage shops. For example, the Via del Boschetto is a great place to search for some unique finds. This is also a lovely area in which to enjoy an ‘aperitivo’, or a delicious Italian meal at one of its many restaurants and bars. We recommend reserving a table at the atmospheric Black Market bar and restaurant.

Monti lies on the Metro B line, this can take you past the Colosseum, and down through to the Aventino district. Here you will find the lush Giardino degli Aranci, which featured in Sorrentino’s ‘La Grande Bellezza’. This is a great place to relax after some sightseeing, given that it offers many benches which are shaded by its tall orange trees. The metro line can take you all the way to Termini, the central station. From here you can transfer to the Metro A, which will whisk you straight to the Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, and then the Vatican area.
