Rome Unique Boccaccio Trevi Fountain

Rome Unique Boccaccio Trevi Fountain is a sophisticated 2-bedroom apartment, decorated with beautiful renaissance paintings, located between the Trevi Fountain and the Metro Barberini.

The accommodation is situated on the 1st floor of a monumental building in a quiet street and can be reached by elevator or one easy flight of steps. This holiday home is perfect in all its details with original paintings and ceilings, pieces of antique, yet combined very well with a modern touch such as the kitchen and appliances.

You enter the property in a small hallway from where you can access a twin bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom in luxury marble with a walk in shower, toilet, bidet and sink. The living room has high wooden beamed ceilings, decorated with stunning paintings. A contemporary kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, oven and induction burners. An antique round table offers a cozy place to dine and the living area has a flatscreen TV and a sofa that can also be used as a single bed.

The twin bedroom and living room are also connected by a veranda where you can find the washing machine. The master bedroom features an antique four poster bed and the same high beamed ceiling. An en-suite bathroom in marble is fitted with a shower, toilet, bidet and sink. A large window offers a lot of light. Rome Unique Boccaccio Trevi Fountain has air conditioning and autonomous heating.

Location

Located in the Quirinale district, the nearby Fontana di Trevi (The Trevi Fountain) is the most well known and perhaps the most alluring Roman fountain in the city. In the past, it was said that a glass of the fresh, reviving water from the Trevi Fountain would ensure good luck and a fast return to Rome. Over time, this practice was substituted with the tossing of a coin into the fountain. Tradition calls for one to toss a coin with their right hand over their left shoulder with their back to the fountain. The miniature fountain on the left side of the Trevi Fountain is known as the 'fountain of lovers'. It is said that if a couple drinks from it, they will be forever faithful to their partner.

Arguably Italy's most famous staircase, The Spanish Steps, are also a short walk from the Fontana di Trevi, they consist of a whole 138 steps and were constructed in 1725. The Spanish Steps are accessible from Via dei Condotti, the most exclusive shopping street in Rome. The steps lead up from Piazza di Spagna to the church Trinita dei Monti. The Spanish Steps have featured in many films including the Roman Holiday starring Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck and more recently The Talented Mr. Ripley starring Matt Damon, Jude Law and Gwyneth Paltrow.
