Within easy walking distance you will find the Castel Sant’Angelo and Pantheon. All the facilities you might need are nearby, such as outdoor markets, supermarkets, banks, and pharmacies. This is moreover a great place to be in the evenings, with many popular restaurants and bars. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly, especially in the area surrounding the Piazza Navona.

Heading further west across the river, you will find even more bars and restaurants in the Trastevere district. This part of town is truly the place to be in the evening, with an unbeatable atmosphere. We highly recommend taking an aperitivo in this area, so you can soak up the atmosphere. We especially suggest you go to the “Forno di Campo de Fiori“, where you can taste some of the best pizza in Rome. For party people, we suggest a cocktail at Piazza della Quercia. To get to attractions that may lie slightly further away, you can catch one of the many buses that run around this area. That said, Rome is best explored on foot, and the majority of its attractions are very accessible this way.
